Yeneda Park is a local family run farm located in Yarragon, West Gippsland. We're co-owned by a local vet who makes sure our lambs live a great life. Our lambs are 100% grass fed, and the meat is all processed locally so there is minimal travel involved which significantly reduces stress for our lambs.
The way we sell our meat is simple:
1. We have a waitlist of locals who are interested in buying a whole lamb.
2. We notify our waitlist when we have lambs ready to be processed. This is usually around 10 lambs at a time, and they tend to sell out quickly.
3. You pre-pay $300+GST for the lamb (while size varies, you can reasonably expect roughly 25kg of meat which works out to $12/kg for fresh, quality meat. And you're getting all the best cuts too!)
4. Our lambs are processed locally and packaged into clearly marked packs by the different cuts of meat so you know what everything is.
5. The meat is delivered fresh to your door!
We sell whole lambs for $300+GST. The lambs are roughly 25kg of final meat, which works out to approximately $12/kg for fresh, quality meat. And you're getting all the best cuts too!
The meat is all professionally processed at a local abattoir and packaged by the different type of cut such as forequarter chops, racks, roast, shanks, etc.
They all have labels printed on them.
Once processed, a whole lamb provides roughly 25kg of fresh meat. We do not guarantee a certain size of our lambs, but this gives you a good indication of what to expect.
We know 25kg of meat sounds like a lot, however all the meat comes packed in easy-to-store trays and the entire lamb will fit in a standard sized freezer.
